Opposites

They say one shouldn't try to replace something they have loved and lost, because nothing will be able to take the place of that person or animal. So, we have been careful not to expect Jazzy to be like our last B.T., Mijo. The only thing we expected of her was to have the bond of owner to pet-that was what we missed most by not having a dog. We have not been disappointed.

We HAVE found it funny to see how different Mijo and Jazzy are. Yes, they both have the typical Boston Terrier traits, but here are some differences between the two:

-M. liked car rides, J. does not (hopefully she will grow to like them)
-M. did not like music, J. stops everything to enjoy music
-M. had a hard time remembering to drink when a puppy, J. has a hard time remembering to eat (she loves to drink)
-M. had a hard time sleeping at night, J. has adjusted quite well to it
-M. caused Libby (our calico) to not share the same space with us, Libby LIKES being in the same room with Jazzy-even encourages J. to chase her
-M. learned to bark early-though not often, J. rarely barks
-M. didn't chew much as a pup, J. OFTEN chews on whatever she can find
-M. was too busy to be held much, J. loves being a lap dog more often

BTW-we pulled up old photos of Jazzy, and we can't believe how much she has grown in the less than 4 weeks since we have owned her. And she is all leg right now. Guess she is in that gawky adolescent age! :-)
