Jazzy's Firsts...

Jazzy has experienced a few firsts in the past 24 hours.
-She was all alone on the couch, and she wanted down but was too afraid to jump down, so she let out her first little puppy bark. Amazing to me that she would be 52 days old before she barked a real bark. It was just a tiny little "arf." So cute. I'm glad she isn't a big barker!
-She knocked over my office trashcan (she is going through her terrible twos) and discovered a piece of discarded chewing gum. So she started to...chew it! Not swallow it, but chew it like a human being. Hilarious! Of course, I fished it out of her mouth. Not the first thing I've had to retrieve from that curious kisser of hers!
-She has discovered stairs, but she is mostly afraid of them. With help, she will try to climb as many as 2 or 3 stairs, but no more than that. And she is petrified of going down. That's a good thing, as small as she is. But we would rather she learn how to do stairs before she takes a fall. Right now, the stairs are blocked off.
-She enjoys something poured over her kibble. Today we poured some extra chicken broth over her food, and she loved it so much she lapped it up and left the kibble!
-She likes the smell of lip balm on my lips. She thinks it is an open invitation to give me a big ol' kiss. Not gonna' happen! (Not on the lips, anyway.)
